1. Visiting the website (server log files)

When you visit the website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted after a short period according to the hosting provider's rules.

2. Contact form and e-mail

If you contact us via the form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide – company, name, e-mail address, country, optionally VAT number, details of your demand, your message and an uploaded file – to handle your enquiry and to prepare or carry out business.

The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures or of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We store the data until your enquiry has been dealt with; if business is concluded, we keep the records in accordance with statutory retention obligations (generally seven years, § 132 Austrian Federal Fiscal Code).

The message is delivered to our mailbox by e-mail. For this we use an e-mail service provider as a processor. We check VAT numbers via the European Commission's VAT Information Exchange System (VIES).

3. Spam protection

To protect the form against automated submissions, your browser solves a small computing task; we also check technical characteristics of the request (e.g. time on page, number of keyboard and mouse events, browser identifier). The IP address is only processed as an encrypted check value or in shortened form. This data is deleted after two hours at the latest.

Rejected attempts are logged with time, IP address and browser identifier in order to detect attacks. The log is limited in size; older entries are overwritten automatically. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies, which do not require consent (§ 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021):

• "lang" – stores the selected language (1 year).
• "eth_cid" – random identifier for the form's spam protection (2 hours).

6. No analytics or tracking

We do not use any analytics, advertising or tracking tools and no social media plug-ins. Fonts are loaded locally from our server; there is no connection to Google Fonts.
